I’d like to tell you what we focus on here, the basic approach that we take so that you can include this in making your decision. From patient reception through examination, treatment, and billing our primary focus is to improve your general well being.

When you’re in pain a genuine smile and interaction with someone who treats you as a person – not just a ‘customer’ goes a long way toward helping you feel better emotionally. Sometimes you may have to wait a few minutes to see the doctor. We know that if your back hurts sitting is very uncomfortable. We can’t eliminate that pain while you are waiting but we do provide massage chairs to make you as comfortable as possible and provide a little bit of immediate relief.

The Rassel family has a long tradition in the chiropractic profession with over ten family members practicing in the United States. With the recent addition of Dr. Ian Rassel, our Escondido office offers not only traditional techniques but also the most recent advancements in chiropractic such as cold laser therapy. We are experts in chiropractic adjustments, spinal correction as well as in nutrition, yoga, sports injury ergonomics, and the Ayurvedic tradition. We have many years of experience with nearly every approach to healing there is.

Each visit you make to our office is custom tailored to your needs. As you move along in the healing process we monitor your body’s response and modify our techniques to further enhance your own natural healing. Sometimes we may do additional stretching, or use cold laser therapy, ultra sound therapy, a different spinal manipulation, a short massage and other techniques. We may recommend basic exercises, dietary supplements as well as nutritional support.

We will always be suggesting to you various things you can do for yourself at home and work to further promote your own natural healing and general welfare. These suggestions are based on observations that we made during your first visit examination and on changes we observe in you as you continue treatment.

We personally enjoy interacting with our clients as though they are friends and family – not just strangers with a problem. In much the same way that good parents take care of their children because they want their kids to feel good and be happy we want our patients to feel good and be happy. Wednesday Workshop

Every Wednesday evening at 6:05 pm we offer our spinal health care class. This hour long class is free to the public, so please bring a family member or friend.

This class is really helpful to those of you want to take an active role in achieving and maintaining a healthy life style so please come and join us. Remember, the exercises we are teaching are geared toward you, our patients, so we aren’t asking you to do anything that will be uncomfortable or cause you any pain.

Techniques We Use

Corrective Care Chiropractic is a completely different approach to achieving and maintaining optimal health. A true Corrective Care Chiropractor will evaluate the Central Nervous System (CNS) and spinal function. The Chiropractic Corrective Care doctor evaluates the person for not only trauma and pathology but more importantly for function. Since our CNS controls every single one of our cells, tissues, and organs we need it to function as close to 100% as possible.

When we see a patient for the first time at our clinic we always let them know there are two basic forms of chiropractic care. One being relief care, which is pain control, and the other is corrective care, which works on the underlying structural abnormalities (that are causing the pain) to make a more permanent change. It’s kind of like spinal orthodontics.
