When we see a patient for the first time at our clinic we always let them know there are two basic forms of chiropractic care. One being relief care, which is pain control, and the other is corrective care, which works on the underlying structural abnormalities (that are causing the pain) to make a more permanent change. It’s kind of like spinal orthodontics.

Corrective Care Chiropractic can aid in building a healthy body and immune system by slowing down mechanical decay in the spine and helping the patient to function at an optimal level to maximize their overall health and quality of life.

How We Correct the Root Problem

    Relief Care

    The chiropractor’s focus during this period is to alleviate your symptoms. Sometimes, this will require daily visits or two to three visits per week for some time.

  • 02

    Corrective Care

    Corrective care is not as intensive as Relief care, and requires fewer weekly visits depending on you particular circumstances. During this stage your chiropractor may introduce you to some gentle exercise and stretching to help accelerate your healing.

  • 03

    Wellness Care

    Once the chiropractor determines that you have fully recovered from your injury you are ready for treatment in Stage 3 – Wellness.

    Regular visits to your chiropractor is your best insurance against many of the nagging aches and pains that so often wind up as major problems.
